Data Deletion Policy

Applies to: agentcymarketing.co (and any marketing subdomains)
Last updated: May 16, 2026
Contact for deletion requests: [email protected]

This policy explains what personal data Agentcy collects from visitors to our public marketing website, how long we keep it, and how you can request that it be deleted. It is separate from the Data Deletion Policy for the Agentcy application at app.agentcymarketing.co, which covers data inside your workspace.

1. What data we collect on the marketing site

The marketing site only collects three categories of personal data:

1.1 Contact / interest form submissions. When you fill out a form on agentcymarketing.co (for example the Day Zero waitlist or a contact form), we collect the fields you submit. Today those fields are:

  • Your name
  • Work email address
  • Business name
  • Business website (optional)
  • Industry (optional)
  • Anything you type in a free-text field

1.2 Analytics and usage data. When you load a page, our analytics tooling records technical metadata about the visit: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, user-agent (browser and device), referring URL, pages viewed, and time on page. This data is used to understand which marketing pages convert and to debug site issues. It is not sold to third parties or used to build advertising profiles.

1.3 Cookies and similar storage. We use a small number of first-party cookies for session continuity (for example, remembering whether you’ve dismissed a banner) and to attribute conversions. We do not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to use the site.

We do not collect government IDs, financial account numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise device location through the marketing site.

2. How long we keep it

DataDefault retention
Contact / form submissions (no follow-up purchase)24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymized
Contact / form submissions (became a customer)Moved into the app workspace under the App Data Deletion Policy
Marketing email list subscriptionUntil you unsubscribe, then 30 days for suppression-list purposes
Server access logs30 days
Analytics events14 months
Cookie data on your deviceUp to 12 months, or until you clear it

If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will (subject to the limits in Section 5).

3. How to request deletion

You have three options:

3.1 Self-serve unsubscribe. Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from active marketing sends within 24 hours. Your email is kept on a suppression list for 30 days to make sure no further sends slip through, then deleted.

3.2 Email us. Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address you submitted. Include:

  • The email address you used on the form
  • (Optional) your business name, to help us locate the right record

We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. If we need to verify your identity (for example, because the request comes from a different address), we’ll ask for a simple confirmation before deleting.

You do not need to give a reason. We treat all deletion requests the same way.

4. What gets deleted, what stays

When we process a marketing-site deletion request, we remove:

  • Your record in our contact database
  • Your email from any active or suppression marketing list (after the 30-day suppression window)
  • Any free-text notes attached to your record
  • Personally identifiable analytics events tied to your email or session

We retain, in a minimized form:

  • A hashed record that you requested deletion, so we can prove the request was honored and so we don’t accidentally re-add you from a future import.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (e.g., “X visits to the pricing page in March”) that cannot be tied back to you.
  • Any data we are required to keep by law (rare for marketing-site data — almost always nothing).

We will never sell, license, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Limits on what we can delete

A few honest caveats:

  • Backups. Our hosting provider and database vendor keep encrypted backups on a rolling window (typically up to 35 days). Your data is removed from active systems immediately on request, and ages out of backups within that window. We will not restore a backup just to keep your data, and we will not selectively reach into backups to delete you — backups are write-once and short-lived.
  • Email already sent. We can stop sending you marketing email, but we can’t recall emails that have already been delivered to your inbox.
  • Data already shared with you. If you forwarded one of our pages or downloaded a PDF, we obviously can’t delete the copy on your device.

6. Subprocessors that may hold marketing-site data

We use a small number of vendors to operate the marketing site. Each is contractually bound to delete data on our instruction:

VendorWhat they process
VercelSite hosting, edge logs
SupabaseForm submissions, contact records
Resend (or successor email vendor)Marketing email sends, unsubscribe state
Our analytics providerPage analytics
ClerkMarketing-site login (where applicable)

When you request deletion, we propagate the deletion to each of these vendors.

7. Children

The marketing site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, email [email protected] and we will delete it on receipt.

8. Regional rights

If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data-rights laws, you may have additional rights (such as data portability, the right to object to processing, or the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority). To exercise any of these, contact [email protected] with a description of your request. We will respond within the timeframes those laws require.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, notify you by email. The current version is always at agentcymarketing.co/data-deletion-policy.
